The drawing for the 1925 Johnson A-25 Raffle Motor was held at the city of Oakland Park, FL Historical Society's "Pioneer House" on April 15, 2013 at 5:00 pm . Former Mayor and current Historical Society President Anne Sallee drew one winning ticket and two alternates (in case there was a problem contacting the winner). The winning ticket was held by Jimmie Harrison, owner of Frank & Jimmies Prop Shop in Fort Lauderdale. First alternate was Jason Merlow and second alternate was Stephen Barto, Sr. Many thanks to chapter members who took the time to sell raffle tickets. Top ticket salesperson is Steve Stella who sold 443 tickets. Steve's efforts will be rewarded by FREE LUNCH at our meets for one year. Steve delivered the motor to a very happy & lucky Jimmie Harrison on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Here are the statistics: 5,500 tickets printed and distributed to members to sell - 1,935 tickets not sold or returned 3,565 tickets entered in the drawing $2,977.00 gross income from ticket sales - 903.00 restoration, printing & postage expense $2,074.00 NET RAFFLE INCOME
